Industrial designer passionate about challenges, passionate about creating great innovative and functional products that can integrate humanities and technology, and passionate about making a dent in the universe with a revolutionary product.

Allan is the Head of Industrial Design Engineering at Gantri; he's responsible for the overall product development of new lighting products in different categories such as table, floor, wall, and clamp. In the process, he's responsible for onboarding new creators worldwide, concept approvals, product architecture, and initial production cross-functioning with teams of other departments, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction, which is a top priority. During his time at Gantri, he's built a stellar team of industrial designers and mechanical engineers, delivering several collections over the years and winning several awards from magazines such as Wired, Time, and others.
One of his most outstanding achievements has been reducing the number of parts per product, increasing the margin exponentially, and contributing to the company's growth.
Allan collaborates with several designers, ensuring their concepts come to life and are sold to consumers; he also works with large studios such as Ammunition, Karim Rashid, Smart Design, etc.

Before Gantri, Allan was the VP of Industrial Design at Iron Bridge Tools and reported directly to the CEO. In his role, he led a growing team of designers, oversaw the entire cycle from product creation to production, and worked with different departments in the overall process all the way to products on shelves. As VP of Industrial Design, he was responsible for the innovation of products, including their look and feel, user-friendliness, ergonomics, human factors, structural design, and mechanical design, as well as new ideas and future initiatives.

Since he started his job in 2010 as an intermediate designer, he contributed to IBT's innovative product approach, which was widely sold at different stores. Since then, he has been awarded various patents and was recognized with design awards, including the Walmart Supplier Innovation Award of the Year in 2014.
In 2015, IBT promoted Allan to Senior Industrial Designer, expanding his role in the product design department, continuing to design new hand tool concepts, and making him the leader of group design projects and brainstorming sessions.

Allan earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the Art Institutes. As an undergraduate, he was on the president's and dean's honor roll and was awarded the certificate of excellence for achieving Summa Cum Laude.

An entrepreneur in spirit, Allan launched his very own Kickstarter project after having one of his inventions featured in one of the most important design magazines in the world, "Design Boom".
